I discovered this Home Scent Reed Diffuser in Geranium Rosemary last week and it's been wonderful! The scent is subtle but lovely, filling my living room with that calming rose-scented herb aroma every time. It definitely helps me relax when I'm winding down for the evening or trying to focus at home, and it lasts quite a while between refills. I highly recommend this one if you're looking for something simple yet effective to create a peaceful vibe in your space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question? We are here to answer!

Reed diffusers are well-loved for their flame-free and low maintenance appeal, dispersing the scent easily into the surrounding air.

We recommend to place your reed diffuser in sitting areas or near doors as an inviting welcome greeting.

If you have a reed diffuser, you can use all 6 reeds included in the package for 60ml or 150ml and all 9 reeds for the 450ml.

If you have our scenting clay diffuser vase, we recommend using 4-6 reeds. But you can add more if you prefer a more intense scent.

Each rattan reed contains around 20 tubular hollows within which oils travels up, saturating the reed as it does so. As the reeds soak up the fragranced oil, an evaporation process occurs, diffusing the scent of the oil into the surrounding space. To get the most out of the reeds, allow them to soak for at least half an hour upon first use, then flip them upside down, immersing the other end of the reeds in the oil. The quantity of the reeds used depends on the size of the room; 6- 8 reeds is typically sufficient for a small room. These type of reeds tend to hold on to scent and diffuse at a slower pace than fibre ones. This also means they do not get saturated or clogged as quickly. This type of reeds are best suited for strong top notes, or base, or woody scents.

Similar to rattan reeds, bamboo reeds also contain hollows. However, bamboo reeds contain nodes – as opposed to the clear channels of rattan reeds- which interfere with the oil wicking process, resulting in a less efficient scent diffuse rate.

Fibre reeds are manufactured reeds that are designed specifically for the purpose of oil wicking and scent dispersal. Its porosity distribution is uniform, ensuring optimal oil distribution throughout the reed. Unlike rattan and bamboo reeds, fibre reeds come in a variety of colours to match different aesthetics. Being made from fibre threads, these reeds soak up and diffuse scent stronger but faster than its woody counterparts. Pick this type for light, or floral scents.
