Some Specialty Oils are “absolutes,” extracted using solvent methods (instead of steam distillation). This process captures richer, more complex aromas, especially for delicate flowers like jasmine and rose.

Due to the thickness in consistency of our specialty oils, we do not recommend to use it for nebulisers or other devices. You may, however, select from our Single-Note, Remedies, or Chakras Essential Oils.

Therefore, when used correctly, the risk of any oil buildup affecting your air conditioner should be minimal.

To further ensure the smooth operation of your air conditioning system when using essential oils, we recommend ensuring good ventilation in the area where the diffuser is used. Proper ventilation helps prevent excessive moisture and condensation.

HYSSES Essential Oils are pure, thus very strong. We recommend diluting it first with a base or carrier oil before applying on skin. Kindly refer to our dilution guidelines HERE.

Before applying any product or mixture to your entire body, we highly recommend performing a patch test. This simple step helps ensure compatibility and minimizes the risk of any unexpected reactions. 

Our caps require pressing down before turning as a safety feature.

If you are still having trouble opening, please follow these steps:

1. Wear rubber gloves, or have a tea towel or cloth to hand.
2. Boil your kettle and when it has boiled, put enough water in the bottom of a mug to cover the essential oil cap.
3. Turn the bottle upside down and put it in the mug. Leave for a couple of minutes to warm the cap.
4. Wearing rubber gloves (or using your towel or cloth), firmly grip the cap, press down and turn.

We recommend exercising caution when using essential oils, particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy, as this period is considered more sensitive. It's always advisable to consult with your healthcare provider before incorporating any new products or practices during pregnancy.
