LEMONGRASS IN SKIN CARE

Tightens pores:Lemongrass helps in strengthening the skin tissues and toning up the pores while sterilizing them. It is an effective cleanser for oils or acne-prone skin.

  • How to use for face care
    Add one drop of essential oil to one dollop of your face cream or lotion and apply every two days. Do not be tempted to add more oil. Higher doses do not work better than regular applications.
  • How to use for body care

LEMONGRASS IN HAIR CARE

Promotes Hair Growth: Lemongrass is believed to strengthen hair follicles, which is essential for preventing hair loss. It is combined often with rosemary and lavender to help treat hair.

  • How to use
    Dilute 3 drops of Lemongrass essential oil with 3 tbsp of carrier oil such as jojoba oil, or sweet almond oil and use in a scalp massage oil.

Blends well with

Lemongrass blends well with Ginger to give an added boost to the circulatory system. Other oils that are suitable to blend with Lemongrass are Eucalyptus, Geranium and Lavender.

Although considered safe, the topical use of Lemongrass or ingestion of Lemongrass can result in allergic reactions in some people.
